Suryadarshan Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Damak–6, Jhapa, has been providing various forms of relief and financial assistance to its members under its Member Relief Program. The program is available to members who maintain shares worth NPR 10,000 or more and make a regular monthly savings contribution of NPR 1,000.
As part of this initiative, Ms. Sita Karki, a shareholder member residing in Damak–9, was provided financial assistance of NPR 10,000 toward her operation expenses. The assistance was provided under the institution’s Shareholder Member Relief Fund, and a deposit slip equivalent to the amount was handed over to the member on behalf of the institution.
The cooperative has been continuing the relief program with the objective of providing timely support to eligible members in times of need.
